Book a large agency and you find out who went when the report arrives. Here you know beforehand, and you deal with that person directly — before the visit, on the day, and when you have a question about what he found.
Trained inside the major agencies
Every inspector came out of the established third-party firms, where he was trained in AQL sampling, defect classification, audit protocol and report discipline. That is the standard your report is written to.
Local people
Each inspector lives in the region he covers. He knows the industrial belt, he knows which factories in it have a reputation, and he talks to a production manager in the local dialect rather than through an interpreter.
Whoever is nearest goes
Your visit is assigned to the inspector closest to your supplier, so it can happen at short notice. You are told his name when the booking is confirmed and you can reach him directly on the day.
Anywhere in mainland China.
There is no factory we cannot get to. If your supplier sits outside the area one of our inspectors lives in, the nearest one travels — and the rate does not change. Travel is inside the USD 130 man-day, everywhere in mainland China, which is the whole point of quoting one number instead of a base fee plus expenses.
